ATTRIBUTION is difficult among most pre-1980 fetishes (and jewelry) since so few fetishes were made and most were not signed. Based on extensive examination of similar carvings and pieces and some definitive determinations, “best guess” attributions are listed here. I welcome any additional information to better attribute names to carvings and other tribal art. Attributions on this site are made with mindfulness.
